This is a property that is the most all in you can find in quang ngai. It has Breakfast, karaoke, spa, pool, suites and even a bell boy. Of course its not a new place, even though they are upgrading it little by little. There is hardly any industry around to support a 4 star hotel like this, so the occupancy will not be very high for the deluxe and suite rooms here; something that you can smell when you come in.
The more the smell, the lower the occupancy. Outside on the streets there are many coffee shops and small eateries. If you have some money to spend, go for the suite, it offers you a large bath, a sitting room , large bed and mini bar for Usd 60 per night.. My rating is 'very good' considering the area and the town, that still live from agriculture and the majority of the population is still occupied earnling a living for a daily meal or 3.
You can smell the dampness as soon as you go in. There was a very little hot water. The hotel is tired and dated and feels very communist. The 7th floor restaurant is horrible and has absolutely no atmosphere - the food was ok. The town is not exactly a tourist hotspot but is close to My Lai. A taste of real Vietnam - we were on a cycling tour and you go through places where its obvious that Vietnam's vibrant economy has not touched everyone. This hotel takes place right at the central of Quang Ngai City, I can walk around from here.
I love the way they cook Brown rice for me. I can eat it everyday. I arrived in Quang Ngai very late one night or early For that night, it was good First thing in the am I searched not very hard and found that it was the only thing around.
For the cost, it fit the bill as a place to sleep but if you're looking for a 'regular western type' hotel, it does fall short. All-in-all, for two nights, at the price, it was okay We arrived late and tired and hotel looked lovely upon arrival. Sadly the rooms weren't as nice as the facade.
